News: Something New and Exciting is happening!

And since you're already a part of the community, we're giving you all a sneak peek!!!

As all of you know, this forum isn't nearly as active as it could be. So it's time to try something completely new, different, and hopefully more promising. It's a new social network for Spirit-filled Christians! Not only will Mark Virkler be active there, but the CWG facilitators are going to get involved, too.

We're going to introduce it to "the world" in the next month or two, but for now we're introducing it to you. It will give you all a chance to get settled in and active, so when others join, they'll be ready to jump in and get involved, as well.

Excited yet?? We are!

So come check it out here: Koinonia Network and sign up!
We'll be working on setting up "how-to" guides for things, but there's already some of that there, so please feel free to sign up!

In the meantime, this forum will become a "read-only" place for information from the new site, so it won't be completely gone, just not what we'll use anymore.

I have not been able to find anyone locally who is walking with the Lord strongly and who is like-minded (full-gospel, Spirit-filled, etc).

Every one of my former spiritual advisors have been so attacked that their faith has been derailed.  My former pastor was so attacked his church was dismantled and the flock scattered and wounded.  We have been trying to find a new church, but here in southern CA we are finding either seeker-friendly gospel light, greasy grace churches or whacky out-of-balance pentecostal ones.  It is very frustrating.

I tend to be the spiritual advisor for many, through counseling and my writings.  Yet, I am so in need of someone I can run things by and confide in.

Ruby,
I fully understand. How about making your spouse your first and formost Spiritual Advisor.
and a spiritual girl friend could be a second.
and you can always get a Personal Spiritual Trainer from CWG Ministries http://www.cwgministries.org/pst/index.htm#pst

Thank you, Mark.

I should have said my dear hubby IS my first and foremost advisor.  But, we both are in need of someone else, just for balance if nothing else.

I will look into one of your advisors.

Thank you!
