How eBooks Save You Time and Money!

What is an eBook?

An eBook is an electronic computer file in the Adobe PDF format. To view the file, you will need the free Adobe Reader software, but you probably already have that on your computer.

What is the benefit of an eBook?

In addition to the 20% discount off the regular price of the book, you will not have to pay shipping, since we won't actually be shipping you anything. You will also get your eBook much faster than a regular, printed book. Usually you will receive your eBook the next business day after placing your order.

How is an eBook different from a normal book?

The book only exists as a file on your computer. You will read the book on your computer screen, rather than on printed paper. 

What if I don't want to read a book on my computer screen?

If you want a hard copy of the book, you can print it out from the eBook PDF file using the inkjet or laser printer that is attached to your home computer. 

The text is too small! How do I make it bigger?

You can easily enlarge or shrink the page by clicking on the + or - buttons within the Adobe Reader software. You can zoom in past 100% to magnify the text as large as you would like it. Usually, the best size for reading is found by accessing the "View" menu at the top of the screen and selecting "Fit Width" or "Fit Page Width."

The pages are turned sideways! How do I read them?

Sometimes a page is oriented horizontally to fit better, with the intention that you would simply turn the book sideways when you read these pages. You can very easily rotate these pages as you are reading them on-screen as well, by either looking for the "Rotate" button within the Adobe Reader software, or by accessing the "View" menu at the top of the screen and selecting the appropriate option from that menu. 

The file is blank! What's wrong?

You may come to a point in the file that appears blank. This is because any blank pages that were in the original book were left in as blank pages in the eBook file so that you can easily print the book and have the pages fit correctly front-to-back. If these pages were left out, it would make printing the file very difficult. Simply ignore these blank spaces and keep scrolling down through the file.

I ordered an eBook, but never received anything in the mail!

When you order an eBook, you are not ordering a physical book. You will only receive an electronic computer file that contains the book. If you want a physical, printed book, you should not select the eBook option.
